Abraham
PowerPoint and Padlet about Abraham in Genesis 12-22 for a presentation in LG1.
In LG1 did I make a group presentation about the figur Abraham, from the old testement.
We startet the presentation by signing "Father Abraham", because the song exists i both Danish, English, German and Icelandic witch are the language that are present in the classrome.
After we have sang the song, we began the the presentation witch was told as a fairytale.
After the story of Abraham the students had to answer some different question in groups on a padlet.
After the padlet, we had a discussion in plenum about there answers where the groups had to argue why the had said what they had said.
As a task, doing our presentation about Abraham in Christianity, we made a padlet, where the learners in the class should put in there thoughts about Abraham, God and Sarah after the presentation. They did the task ind groups and here on the left you can see the result.
It is a good way to incorporate the students in the lesson. As a part of transparent goal-oriented teaching we told the students that we would make them do this task after the presentation in the start of the lessen.
By making the teaching transparent you make sure that they listen and takes notes doing the presentation, and therefore they have a better chance to learn what your are teaching them.
